A public rant for a now former girl friend:
P***NG*NA MO!!!!
After all we did to you, this is what you do to us? And to think you’re our “friend” and we accepted you back with open arms after everything that happened. How could you, you ungrateful liar? Nagmumura na ako nung isang araw pa dahil sa ‘yo and I don’t care. I don’t trust you anymore and don’t you dare think that things are going to get back the way they were after this. I’ve had enough. WE’VE HAD ENOUGH. Seriously. We’re no longer friends after what you did. It’s sickening and disgusting! I can’t imagine how you can even look at yourself in the mirror knowing that you’ve done something so terrible to your friends and that you’ve betrayed our trust. Now, I can’t stand being with you in the same place and I’m seriously hoping each day that I don’t meet you in the corridors or inĀ some hallway or whatever because I have no idea what I’ll do. I honestly want to strangle you and utter curse words at you nonstop. You have changed a great deal and it’s not for the better but for the worst. You never even tried to think about our situation. We earned that money the hard way. It wasn’t given to us by our parents on a silver platter. The fact that they’re working hard to give us that allowance only to find out it’ll end up in your hands is just sickening! You even have the guts to lie in our faces!
I’m sorry for using a Filipino curse word and for just exploding like that but I just can’t help myself especially when I’m freakin’ furious at someone. KADHAKHFLAKHFAHFKADKD; UGH. Maybe the fact that I’m making this public is just to make sure in case you visit this website, you’ll get the feeling at once that this message was aimed at you. Always take note: Karma’s a bitch and it’ll get you sooner than you think!
****
Enough with the drama and moving on, I’ve seen Wall-E recently and Star Wars: Clone Wars. The former was just love while the latter, I just have no idea what to think of. Why, oh, why did George Lucas even made this movie? I miss the original. :/
RYAN/RACHEL TOGETHER AGAIN! WOOHOO! I just love Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams so seeing them back together again just makes me super duper happy. EEEEE!!!

ERASERHEADS!!! I miss old school Filipino music. They’re my favourite and if only I have P800 to spare, I’ll definitely go but alas, I don’t and I’m pretty much swamped this weekend as well. Boo!
Ok, I know I have more good things to say but then again, they were outweighed by this one huge problem my friends and I are having with this now former girl friend. I’m really upset and furious and everytime I think about it, it just ruins everything.

So I’ve actually noticed I haven’t updated here in a month! I still find it weird having 2 blogs. I’m glad though that I’ve decided to use my LJ for friends-locked entries and use this one for my public entries. I guess it’s much easier that way. Only problem is, I guess it takes a while for me to post an entry which I think is definitely a public entry compared to a friends-locked one.
Ok, on to my update. I’ve done so many real-life things these past couple of weeks that I find it annoying that I’ve once again forgotten most. I believe I have short-term amnesia or something because I’ve been forgetting things lately. That’s definitely not me considering I really have a good memory. Tsk, tsk.
Anyway, I’m summarizing what I can remember.
Movies:
- The Dark Knight - Whoa. This movie was just made of win! It was just so intense that I was literally at the edge of my seat but it’s so stressful, dammit! I was holding my breath throughout the whole movie because of so many things going on! Still, the cast was amazing. Heath Ledger was just brilliant in it that there’s no wonder why his role as the Joker affected him so much and eventually took its toll on him. His Joker was just pure genius. *hands down* And also, Gary Oldman and Aaron Eckhart were both fantastic as well! I guess I just have an issue with Batman’s voice in this movie. I just find it weird.
- A Very Special Love - Seriously. I was NOT expecting myself that I’d go see this movie. I seldom watch Filipino movies unless they’re the Cinemalaya ones or indie films. I usually find the Filipino commercial movies these days, “corny” or just not worth watching. They use the same plot over and over and all I’ve been seeing are either romantic-comedies or not a combination of these two. However, this time around, my curiosity got the hell out of me after seeing the trailer. In addition to that, it really doesn’t help to hear your mom sing the movie’s theme song like a broken record player! So when she dragged me along, I obliged thinking she’ll stop singing it once we’ve seen the movie. Fast forward after the movie, I actually found myself smiling. In fairness, I enjoyed it despite some “corny” scenes. It was actually fun to watch and I liked it. It’s another take on office romance. You have the good-looking Filipino actor, John Lloyd Cruz teamed up with Filipino singer, Sarah Geronimo. I thought both were really good. I mean, with John Lloyd, there’s no doubt about the acting skill. With Sarah, I was seriously surprised because I’ve always known her as a singer, not as an actress. She was just funny and did a really good job. I guess now I have to live with the fact that my Last Song Syndrome is the movie’s theme song. Dammit! Don’t be expecting me to be watching these kind of movies anytime soon on the big screen! Unless of course, they’re shown on cable TV. Don’t you even start with the KC Concepcion-Richard Gutierrez starrer, For The First Time because I definitely won’t be watching that.
- Boses (Voices) - This is one of the reasons why I just love indie films. They’re always amazing and the actors really deliver. This film was no exception. It has such a heartwarming story and it’s about music. It tells the story of Onyok, a 7-year old, who was rescued by a concerned neighbor from his abusive father. He was brought to a private shelter where he encounters Ariel, a reclusive violinist. Ariel, haunted by guilt over a traumatic relationship, shuns everyone and even terrorizes the children in the shelter. Onyok, however, is enchanted by the sound of the violin and cannot keep away. Instead, he finds refuge in Ariel’s cabinet until finally he is caught. And their journey of music, friendship and freedom begins. It was such an honor to meet Julian Duque, who played the role of Onyok. He even played the violin which delighted everyone in the theater. We were all screaming for him because of that! Haha. It was really fun and the film was just lovely.
Movies coming soon this month that I’d love to see would be Wall-E (Yes, we’re like a month late. Damn, theaters!) and The X-Files: I Want To Believe (Blames local theaters again.)
Books:
- Breaking Dawn - Don’t you dare get me started on this. Actually, I haven’t read the book yet. Reason? The bookstore where my friend and I reserved our copies did not have enough hardbound copies! Dammit. They seriously suck. We’ve asked the other bookstores but all the copies are sold-out. They have paperbacks but I already have the series in hardbound and I would like to maintain it that way just like with the HP books. I’ve been so spoiled already with the book but I don’t care and I’m well aware how it all ended up like some bad fanfic but I still want to read it. I actually want to see what my reaction would be. I have to wait for I don’t know how long to read the whole book and that just annoys me.
School:
- Art Studies 1 - Egyptian Art. Woohoo! This includes Ancient Egypt and we’ve been watching documentaries about it. I just love it! Egyptian History has always been a favourite of mine since I was little that I even dreamed of becoming an Egyptologist.
- German 10 - Separable verbs, compound words and more. We’re learning more about the country itself now and it’s neighboring countries and all that jazz. Fun!
- Philosophy 11 - Logic apparently is very interesting. We’ve been taking up fallacies and I was just amazed by how they’re definitely part of everyday life. We’ve been having fun discussions lately about human rights, animal rights and more.
TV:
Pushing Daisies Season 2 Trailer (Comic Con)
Pushing Daisies Season 2 Trailer! Yaaay! *dances* It really looks fun and I can’t wait for it! sucks that I still have to wait until October 1. Boo!
Theater:
- Cinderella - This Sunday! I can’t wait! Yippee! I’m finally going to see Lea Salonga in a musical production and I’m so happy because it’s a dream come true. She’s one of my favourite theater actresses and I’m so excited to see her live. :D
As for site news, Painted Hearts will once again undergo another layout change. Hopefully after my midterms are over next week. I actually can’t wait to work on this. I have so many things I’d like to try out and do to this site and that includes, adding some extras. Yaaay!
